Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Store Auditor to join our team. As a Store Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating the financial and operational processes within our stores to ensure compliance with company policies and standards. You will examine sales records, inventory flow, cash handling, and other store operations to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of store financial records and operational processes.
  • Review inventory management practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Examine cash handling procedures to verify adherence to company policies.
  • Identify discrepancies and variances in store sales and reporting data.
  • Ensure store-level adherence to company policies and procedural standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate with store management to implement effective corrective measures.
  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements impacting operations.
  • Participate in training sessions to update auditing skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in developing audit programs and refine auditing methodology.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to ensure resolution of previously identified issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to stores in understanding audit procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in auditing, preferably within a retail or store environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective reporting.
  • Ability to travel frequently as needed to various store locations.
  • Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory management principles.
