Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our pediatric clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children, ranging from infants to adolescents. In this role, you will oversee the healthcare needs of young patients, support their families, and work collaboratively with pediatricians and other medical professionals. Your expertise in pediatric nursing will ensure that all children receive the best possible care in a nurturing and supportive environment. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor children’s health conditions and symptoms accurately and promptly.
  • Administer medication and treatments according to prescribed guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide support and assistance to pediatricians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about managing conditions and promoting health.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment that meets healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes thoroughly and accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate first aid and intervention measures.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care.
  • Participate in pediatric health promotion activities and outreach programs as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in pediatric care practices and policies.
  • Perform routine tests and screenings such as vaccinations and hearing tests.

Requirements

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric health, growth, and development principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and empathize with families.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other relevant pediatric certifications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
