Our firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. As a pivotal member of our accounting department, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing our financial information to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. With your expertise, you will support our financial team through the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and help guide the company towards achieving its financial objectives. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with established timelines.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and ledger accounts for various business transactions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
• Provide technical accounting advice and support to other departments and stakeholders.
• Interact with external auditors during financial and operational audits and reviews.
• Manage and oversee the general accounting functions, including account reconciliations.
• Review and analyze financial data to provide management with insightful reports.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.
• CPA certification is preferred, signifying advanced expertise in accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software, particularly ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a sharp attention to numerical detail.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written communication.
