Job Description

As a Senior Accountant at 25D25, you will be at the forefront of ensuring financial transparency and accuracy for our organization. You will play a critical role in analyzing complex financial data, preparing detailed financial reports, and overseeing our accounting operations. Your expertise in accounting principles and your proficiency with financial software and tools will drive financial strategy and support decision-making processes across the company. Working closely with the finance team, you will also mentor junior accountants and contribute to continuous improvement in financial procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, thereby safeguarding the company's financial integrity. This position is ideal for someone with a comprehensive understanding of general and cost accounting principles, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and provide solutions for identified issues.
  • Develop financial systems to streamline accounting functions and improve accuracy.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff members and evaluate performance.
  • Assist in budget preparation and manage actual financial performance against budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other financial documentation.
  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic planning support through detailed financial analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or similar certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and experience with ERP systems is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing accounting teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
