The Senior Account Manager (Sr. Account Manager) is a key strategic role within our organization, responsible for managing and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who can serve as the primary point of contact for our most significant clients. The Sr. Account Manager is expected to understand clients' needs comprehensively, provide tailored solutions, and drive client success to foster business growth. Additionally, this role involves a blend of sales acumen, strategic planning, and leadership skills to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and the achievement of revenue targets. The ideal candidate is adept at balancing multiple priorities, building consensus among client partners, and successfully executing client-centric campaigns. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create customized strategies that meet individual client needs, promoting retention and expansion.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve client objectives and company growth targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular meetings and communication.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell services and introduce new products to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client projects and solutions.
  • Monitor and report on account performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve client issues and perform conflict resolution effectively to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies that may affect clients’ businesses.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior account managers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all client interactions and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or related field essential.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic client accounts and driving growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills a must-have.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure warranted.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite necessary for daily tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for client success.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
