Job Description

The role of a Senior Account Manager is pivotal in managing and nurturing key client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving business growth through effective account management strategies. As a seasoned professional in this role, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, delivering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations, and maintaining long-term client partnerships. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure that services are aligned with client objectives and that high standards of service delivery are maintained. A Senior Account Manager possesses outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to strategize for strengthening and fostering client relationships. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through consistent communication.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and meet targets.
  • Identify client needs and work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Monitor and forecast clients’ budgets to meet project margins and company goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Analyze and prepare reports on account status, client metrics, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for client retention and business growth.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback to the company regarding competitive activities in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in account management or sales.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required for client interactions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales systems is highly desirable.
