Specialist - UI UX Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer with hands-on expertise in the Unily digital experience platform. This key role involves crafting a seamless digital environment by designing and developing engaging pages and custom components within Unily. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various business units, Marketing Communications, and technical teams to realize digital initiatives and deliver an optimized user experience, with particular emphasis on mobile accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design & UX Conceptualization: Create user-focused designs and layouts for Unily pages aligned with business needs and communication objectives.
• Page Development & Content Management: Build, update, and manage sections and pages within Unily in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure all Unily pages are responsive and mobile-first, enhancing usability and accessibility across devices.
• Visual Consistency & Branding: Maintain uniform design standards and adhere to brand guidelines across all digital touchpoints.
• API Integration & Module Extension: Connect external systems (e.g., Chatbot, E-Commerce, AI Magazine) using REST APIs and Unily’s Extend Module.
• Custom Development: Develop bespoke widgets, components, or extensions within Unily to meet specific project requirements.
• System Integration & Data Architecture: Architect data flow for integrations, designing efficient and secure data exchange processes between Unily and external systems via REST and SOAP protocols.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices for API integrations, including authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, tokens), data encryption, and safeguarding sensitive information. Ensure adherence to security standards and policies.
• Creating Curated Experiences: Design and deliver targeted, personalized portal experiences tailored to specific audience segments to improve engagement and relevance.
• Advisory Services: Offer expert guidance on Unily’s capabilities and limitations to assist stakeholders in evaluating new digital initiatives.
  
  

• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, CSS3 / SCSS, GraphQL (GQL), with strong experience working with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Unily, especially content management and utilizing the Extend Module.
• Experience architecting data flow solutions for seamless and secure integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to create personalized and curated experiences within portals for targeted audiences.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimization.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices for API and system integrations, including OAuth, API keys, token management, and encryption.
• Ability to produce clean, accessible, and maintainable frontend code, adhering to WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and collaborative development practices.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with non-technical stakeholders to shape digital experiences.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles with a user-centric approach.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript) and industry best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, marketers, and developers.
• Basic understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements in system integrations.
