JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION

The role holder is responsible for supporting the AVP, UAEN Development in the delivery of learning and development requirements for assigned portfolios. The role holder supports training design and delivery and manages the day-to-day administration of development initiatives and programs aligned to the Emiratization strategy for the allocated project and business portfolio.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning & Development Planning
Supports and implements the learning & development programmes for allocated UAE Nationals across different business areas.
Manages Emiratis bespoke development programs and key projects to support the Emiratization strategy and UAE Nationals growth.
Ensures compliance with internal quality standards.
Delivers on the training needs analysis.
Oversees the design of all business-related trainings.
Coordinates business meetings for the design and delivery of programmes.
 

Training Delivery
Trains staff on internal sessions for select topics, as required.
Oversees the development of in-house course content for identified trainings to ensure effectiveness.
Liaises with external trainers or training vendors at a local, regional, and global level to provide best-in-class training in line with international standards to all employees.
Ensures cost-efficient procurement of learning services – learning facilities, learning content, and delivery.
Supports the AVP, UAEN Development in delivering all Emiratization projects for the respective business.
 

Training Program Evaluation
Tracks and reports progress on daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
Attends progress meetings.
Measures the ROI on learning and development and the effectiveness of training imparted, to understand high-impact interventions and guide the allocation of learning and development budgets.
 

Job Context
Obtains necessary approvals for the delivery, assessment, development, and evaluation of best-in-class customized training delivery models Computer-Based Training, presentations, textbooks, and instructor guides.
Liaises with all respective stakeholders, trainees, trainers, subject matter experts, product managers, and vendors to understand training needs analysis and continuously develop and deliver course offerings.
Sources and manages vendors (where applicable), from initial identification through the RFP process to day-to-day operational management of program design, delivery, and assessment.
Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or any related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in training/learning & development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
 

Preferred / Beneficial
Experience in training delivery and digital training implementation is preferable.
