Specialist Pulmonary Critical Care

The Specialist Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine physician is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and critical care services to patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions, including patients requiring intensive care.

The physician will assess and manage acute and chronic respiratory disorders, provide appropriate critical care interventions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine with appropriate subspecialty training in Pulmonary/Respiratory Medicine and/or Critical Care Medicine.

Relevant fellowship or subspecialty qualification in Pulmonary Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, or equivalent is preferred.

Qualification must be recognized by the relevant UAE health authority.

Valid UAE Specialist License or eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licensing, as applicable.

Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred or may be required depending on the facility and role.
