Specialist Pipeline Engineer – PMC

Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pipeline Engineer to support a major upstream Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be responsible for providing specialist pipeline engineering expertise, reviewing EPC contractor deliverables, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards and applicable international codes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering.
15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas pipeline engineering experience.
Strong experience in upstream Oil & Gas pipeline projects, including gathering/flowline systems and associated facilities.
Previous work experience in PMC environment required.
Strong experience in Project Lifecycle: Concept study, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC project stages.
Experience in ADNOC projects
Strong knowledge of ASME B31.4/B31.8, API 5L and relevant pipeline codes and standards.
Experience in pipeline route selection, hydraulic design, wall-thickness calculations, material selection, coating/corrosion protection and pipeline integrity requirements.
Experience with pipeline crossings, tie-ins, road/utility crossings and constructability considerations.
Knowledge of sour-service/H₂S pipeline requirements.
Familiarity with pipeline engineering/design software and relevant technical databases.
