Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking an experienced Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology with a strong focus on high‑risk obstetrics to join its Women’s Health team. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, managing complex and high‑risk pregnancies under consultant supervision, and contributing to safe, evidence‑based maternity services within a tertiary‑care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with a focus on high‑risk pregnancies
• Manage complex maternal and fetal conditions, including obstetric complications and medical comorbidities, in collaboration with consultants
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures within the approved specialist scope of practice
• Participate in inpatient, outpatient, and on‑call services to ensure continuity of maternity care
• Work closely with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and DOH regulations
  
  

• Specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Arab Board, MRCOG, or equivalent)
• Eligibility for or holding a valid DOH Abu Dhabi Specialist license
• Proven experience in managing high‑risk obstetric cases within a hospital or tertiary care setting
• Strong clinical competence in antenatal care, labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and gynecology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
