Job Description
- Lead HSE activities for offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments, particularly focusing on offshore-specific risks.
- Design and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks to personnel, the environment, and assets.
- Oversee safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.
- Support the development of safety management systems and procedures for offshore operations.
- Provide guidance on technical safety issues, ensuring all safety systems are designed to meet the highest standards.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of safety-related issues.
- Contribute to emergency response planning and safety training programs for offshore personnel.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on offshore operations.
- Extensive experience in technical safety, risk management, and loss prevention in the offshore context.
- In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of leading and managing HSE activities for large-scale offshore projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
