Job Purpose
Manage and drive the analysis, structuring, and execution of complex corporate and structured financing solutions, including syndicated financings, asset-backed arrangements, and in house funding for ADNOC L&S and its subsidiaries. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company’s financial agility and resilience by developing robust financial models, optimizing debt and equity structures, and maintaining efficient cash management processes.
The specialist collaborates across departments and with external partners to secure competitive funding, support strategic investments (such as fleet expansion and infrastructure), and enable ADNOC L&S’s growth ambitions. By proactively monitoring financial markets, regulatory changes, and internal liquidity needs, the specialist ensures that all financing activities are aligned with ADNOC L&S’s long-term objectives, risk management standards, and operational excellence.

Lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of large-scale syndicated financing transactions, from initial analysis and structuring to execution and post-deal monitoring. This includes engaging with multiple financial institutions to secure competitive terms, preparing detailed financial models, and ensuring that financing solutions align with ADNOC L&S’s strategic objectives, such as supporting fleet expansion, infrastructure investments, and global growth post-IPO. The specialist ensures that all financing activities are compliant with internal governance and external regulatory requirements, directly contributing to ADNOC L&S’s ability to fund major projects and maintain financial agility.
Oversee the structuring and management of various corporate financing facilities, including bank guarantees and bilateral loans. This involves negotiating facility terms, assessing risk exposures, and ensuring that all facilities are structured to optimize cost and flexibility for ADNOC L&S. The specialist works closely with internal stakeholders to identify funding needs and with external partners to secure the best possible arrangements, supporting the company’s operational continuity and strategic initiatives.
Direct the evaluation and execution of asset-backed financing and leasing transactions, leveraging ADNOC L&S’s assets (such as vessels and equipment) to secure funding. The specialist is responsible for structuring deals that maximize value, minimize risk, and support the company’s asset management strategy. This is essential for enabling ADNOC L&S to modernize its fleet and maintain a competitive edge in logistics and shipping.
Oversee the management of in-house bank funding solutions for both ADNOC Group and ADNOC L&S subsidiaries (e.g., ZMI, N8). This includes structuring revolving credit facilities (RCF), term loans, and pre-delivery funding to ensure liquidity across the organization. The specialist ensures that funding structures are cost-effective, support operational needs, and align with ADNOC L&S’s broader financial strategy.
Together with the senior financial analyst develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate debt and equity funding options, assess financial impacts, and support strategic decision-making. The specialist uses these models to perform scenario analysis, stress testing, and to provide actionable insights to senior management, ensuring ADNOC L&S’s financial decisions are data-driven and aligned with business goals.
Together with the senior financial analyst construct and update cash flow forecasts at multiple organizational levels to ensure adequate liquidity and support business planning. The specialist monitors cash positions, identifies potential shortfalls, and recommends actions to optimize cash utilization, directly supporting ADNOC L&S’s ability to fund operations and strategic investments.
Together with the senior financial analyst design and maintain business plan models to support strategic planning and decision-making. These models help ADNOC L&S evaluate new business opportunities, assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with long-term corporate objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, legal, risk) to gather input, align on financial strategies, and ensure compliance with ADNOC L&S policies and international standards. This collaboration ensures that financing strategies are robust, risk-aware, and fully integrated with the company’s broader business objectives.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support debt management and risk mitigation. The specialist evaluates the cost and benefits of various debt instruments, recommends optimal capital structures, and supports the company’s efforts to minimize financing costs and manage financial risks.
Perform tests and scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of market volatility, regulatory changes, and operational risks on ADNOC L&S’s financial position. The specialist uses these insights to inform risk management strategies and ensure the company’s financial resilience.
Monitor and analyse cashflow trends and variances to provide actionable insights and recommendations. The specialist identifies drivers of cashflow fluctuations and works with stakeholders to implement corrective actions, supporting ADNOC L&S’s financial stability.
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize financial analyses, market trends, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders. These deliverables support informed decision-making and transparent communication within ADNOC L&S.
Continuously monitor financial markets, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may affect ADNOC L&S’s financial risk profile. The specialist proactively identifies opportunities and risks, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant.
Assist the Vice President in formulating and executing strategies to optimize the company’s debt/equity structure and minimize financing costs. The specialist provides data-driven recommendations and supports the implementation of best practices.
Evaluate the financial implications of various debt instruments and structures, providing recommendations that balance cost, risk, and flexibility to support ADNOC L&S’s business objectives.
Facilitate coordination among internal teams and subsidiaries/JVs to optimize the use of cash resources, ensuring efficient allocation and supporting group-wide liquidity management.
Implement and refine cash management processes to ensure the efficient use of cash resources, supporting ADNOC L&S’s operational needs and strategic investments.
Assist in overseeing the company’s debt portfolio, including issuance, repayment, and refinancing activities. The specialist ensures that all debt-related activities are executed efficiently and in line with ADNOC L&S’s financial strategy.
Support the Vice President in engaging with external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, rating agencies, and auditors. The specialist helps communicate ADNOC L&S’s financial strategy and performance, building trust and facilitating successful external partnerships
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
Master’s degree in business economics, finance, accounting, law or related disciplines is an important asset.
Strong understanding of corporate funding, capital markets, and asset-backed financing.
Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modelling.
7+ years of experience in corporate finance, structured finance, or treasury within a large, complex organization (preferably in the energy, shipping, or logistics sector).
Advanced experience with financial risk management, hedging instruments, and treasury operations.
Relevant international experience in supporting the structuring, negotiating and the execution of financing arrangements and a wide range of related legal documentation at corporate level and Project Finance at Joint Venture level.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
