Job Description

As a Specialist Endodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues. Your expertise in root canal therapy and specialized endodontic procedures will ensure that patients receive high-quality care that restores and maintains their oral health. Working in a collaborative environment with other dental professionals, you will play a crucial role in alleviating patient discomfort and addressing complex dental challenges. You will be expected to stay current with advancements in endodontic procedures and technologies, and to uphold the highest standards of dental care. This position requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with patients to explain procedures, post-treatment care, and preventative strategies. Your role also involves educating general dentists and other members of the dental team on developments in endodontics.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases of the dental pulp and periodontal tissues using advanced techniques.
  • Perform root canal treatments and surgeries with precision and care for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize digital imaging and diagnostic equipment to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on maintaining dental health following endodontic procedures for long-term benefits.
  • Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and techniques in the field of endodontics to continuously improve patient care.
  • Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced dental professionals and support staff where applicable.
  • Manage dental emergencies relating to endodontic conditions quickly and efficiently, with patient comfort as a priority.
  • Conduct post-treatment evaluations and adjustments to ensure successful outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to enhance professional knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Ensure the dental office environment is clean, safe, and equipped to provide endodontic care efficiently.


Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine .
  • Completion of a residency program in endodontics recognized by appropriate dental educational bodies.
  • Valid UAE dental license as endodontics.
  • Proficiency in using advanced endodontic tools, techniques, and digital imaging software.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex procedures to patients clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team for comprehensive patient care.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical endodontic practice is preferred but not mandatory.
