Specialist Consultant Oral Medicine - Government Sector UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Oral Medicine Specialists and Consultants to join its specialist dental team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained dental professionals seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work in a modern government healthcare environment with advanced diagnostic facilities, multidisciplinary teams, and comprehensive oral healthcare services.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with oral medicine conditions.
• Diagnose and manage oral mucosal diseases, oral manifestations of systemic diseases, salivary gland disorders, and orofacial conditions.
• Conduct detailed clinical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Interpret relevant laboratory investigations, imaging, and diagnostic findings.
• Manage complex and chronic oral medicine cases in collaboration with other specialties.
• Perform or coordinate appropriate diagnostic procedures and biopsies where required.
• Collaborate with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, rheumatologists, oncologists, dentists, and other specialists.
• Provide patient education and appropriate preventive and supportive care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based dental practice.

• Dental degree such as BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Oral Medicine / Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology or a relevant specialty.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and managing complex oral medicine conditions.
• Experience working within a hospital, dental center, or multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
