Specialist Consultant Maternal And Fetal Medicine - Government Sector UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Maternal and Fetal Medicine Specialists and Consultants to join its advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained physicians seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work in a modern government healthcare environment providing comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal and fetal conditions.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

• Provide specialist assessment and management of women with high-risk and complicated pregnancies.
• Diagnose and manage maternal medical conditions affecting pregnancy.
• Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments throughout pregnancy.
• Conduct and interpret advanced antenatal ultrasound and fetal assessments.
• Manage pregnancies complicated by fetal abnormalities and other complex conditions.
• Develop individualized antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management plans.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding maternal and fetal conditions and available management options.
• Coordinate care with Obstetrics, Neonatology, Genetics, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, and other relevant specialties.
• Participate in multidisciplinary high-risk pregnancy and fetal medicine meetings.
• Provide appropriate follow-up and coordinate delivery planning for complex pregnancies.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and clinical governance activities.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice.

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Advanced fellowship or recognized specialist qualification in Maternal and Fetal Medicine / Fetal Medicine.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience managing high-risk and complex pregnancies.
• Experience in fetal assessment, advanced obstetric ultrasound, and prenatal diagnosis.
• Experience working within a tertiary hospital or multidisciplinary maternal-fetal medicine environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
