Specialist Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Government Sector UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons to join its specialist surgical team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained surgeons seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work in a modern government healthcare environment with advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical facilities, multidisciplinary teams, and comprehensive patient care services.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical management of patients with cardiac and thoracic conditions.
• Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise and departmental requirements.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Perform appropriate open and minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures.
• Manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic surgical conditions.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for potential complications.
• Work closely with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and surgical planning.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and clinical governance activities.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of surgical safety, patient care, and evidence-based practice.

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong operative experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery.
• Experience managing complex cardiothoracic surgical cases.
• Experience working within a tertiary hospital or advanced surgical environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
