Specialist Civil

We are currently looking for Specialist Civil to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil and structural engineering design for offshore and onshore projects.
• Oversee the preparation and review of FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed design deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure all design and construction work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.
• Provide technical support to construction teams during the execution phase, including conducting site visits and inspections.
• Review and approve structural analysis and design calculations, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Participate in risk management, safety, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and identify potential issues early to mitigate risks.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 15+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience in FEED, detailed design, and offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design software and structural analysis tools.
• In-depth understanding of international codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with project management and leadership in large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Offshore project experience is a must, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges in this field.
