Job Description

As a Specialist in Catering Operations, you are pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution and high standard of catering services. Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and procurement to ensure budget compliance and quality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor catering staff, fostering a high-performance team.
  • Conduct market research to remain updated on the latest catering trends and demands.
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of catering operations regularly.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Plan logistics for catering deliveries and on-site setups to ensure timeliness.
  • Collaborate on menu design to maximize customer satisfaction and variety.
  • Generate operational reports for senior management to support strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering operations or event management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
