Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system functionality and requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Perform regression testing to verify that past issues do not reoccur in software updates.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct performance testing to assess the functionality under normal and peak loads.
• Participate in requirement analysis to contribute to design and risk assessments.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with product managers to ensure functionalities meet user expectations.
• Maintain test environments and ensure test data accuracy for consistent testing outputs.
• Provide detailed reports and feedback to stakeholders about testing activities and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing or in quality assurance roles.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks like Selenium or JUnit.
• Understanding of agile development processes and methodologies is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus but not mandatory.
