Software Tester 21N25

As a Software Tester at 21N25, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure product quality meets company standards.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and scope of projects.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases for various applications.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using appropriate tracking tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved by the engineering team.
• Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics for ongoing projects.
• Design and implement automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for improvements to product management.
• Work with the operations team to reproduce production environment issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis of identified bugs and implement corrective measures.
• Stay updated on new tools, methodologies, and best practices in software testing.
• Communicate project status and issues to the technical lead and management regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies for software products.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and agile frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying software defects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with automated testing tools and writing test scripts is a plus.
