Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production/Quality and Procurement Manager to join our team to enhance our manufacturing and supply chain operations. This integral role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills capable of overseeing production efficiency, maintaining top-notch quality assurance, and managing procurement processes effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the production processes, ensuring product quality standards are consistently met, and managing supplier relationships to guarantee cost-effective procurement. A successful candidate will possess extensive experience in project management, procurement negotiation, quality assurance, and supply chain logistics. Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and manage production processes to ensure resources are optimized.
  • Oversee the quality assurance processes to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices for materials.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective.
  • Lead the quality control team to achieve timely resolutions to quality issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for long-term partnerships and reliability.
  • Identify production process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across operations.
  • Analyze production and quality data to inform strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to maintain budget constraints and optimize spend.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments in production and procurement.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff to adhere to quality and production standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production, quality assurance, or procurement.
  • Strong leadership and set management skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement cost-effective procurement plans.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to forge solid supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive business solutions.
