Job Description

The Social Media Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic social media marketing strategies to enhance a brand’s presence across various social media platforms. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation, curation, and publication of relevant, original, and high-quality content. Additionally, they will monitor social media channels to enhance the brand’s image, increase digital traffic, and foster audience engagement. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to analyze data to inform and optimize social media strategies. The Social Media Account Manager should have a passion for storytelling and an eye for design and the ability to build and maintain a consistent brand voice and unique digital personality.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Manage a cohesive brand voice and imagery on social media accounts.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content to reach target audiences.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop social media graphics and visuals.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Analyze social media campaigns with trackable data to ascertain ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry news.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries, and engage with the community.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and customer service teams for cohesive strategies.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns for brand promotion.
  • Generate monthly reports on emerging social media trends and insights.
  • Develop engagement strategies for potential customer conversion online.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role required.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent written communication skills and creative content development abilities.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools is necessary.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
