Site Supervision Engineer - Rolling Stock

At Sener, we are delivering one of the regions most complex and innovative Rail & Metro projects. We are looking for a Site Supervision rolling stock engineer to join our systems engineering team on site, supervising retrofit, testing, and commissioning activities.

The role requires an urban transport Rolling Stock background, with APM experience desired, and will involve validating train modifications and coordinating Rolling Stock interfaces with the wider railway system on site.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and inspect on-site Rolling Stock retrofit, testing, and commissioning activities.

2. Validate train modifications against the approved design.

3. Ensure train performance complies with contract specifications and the approved design.

4. Monitor inspection requests and maintain inspection logs.

5. Follow up on NCRs and snagging/punch lists through to closure.

6. Prepare proper documentation and reporting of all testing activities throughout the project lifetime.

7. Provide support to other disciplines as part of the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) team.

8. Coordinate Rolling Stock interfaces with PSD, CBTC Signalling, OCC, Depot Equipment, and other railway systems on site.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical Engineering

2. 8-10 years of on-site experience in Rolling Stock systems

3. Urban transport experience on Metro, Light Rail Transit, or other urban rail projects is mandatory

4. Experience in Rolling Stock retrofit, modification, testing, commissioning, and systems integration is mandatory

5. Previous participation in trial runs, top-level demonstration tests, and handover activities is highly desirable

6. Hands-on knowledge of Rolling Stock interfaces with PSD, CBTC Signalling, OCC, and Depot systems

7. Experience with Hitachi Rolling Stock platforms and CBTC-integrated railway projects is highly desirable

8. Strong understanding of Rolling Stock systems, vehicle architecture, testing methodologies, and retrofit processes

9. Good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. GCC experience is highly desired.

2. Experience working with international Rolling Stock system integrators/OEMs.

3. Participation in trial runs, demonstration tests, and handover stages.

4. Experience on Automated People Mover projects.

5. GCC Metro experience.
