Site Superintendent

Role Purpose

The Landscape Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all landscape construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards. The role involves managing site teams, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and client coordination.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise daily landscape construction activities, including softscape and hardscape works.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate site operations to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor work progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently to maximize productivity
• Evaluate workforce performance and provide guidance when required
• Ensure all landscape works meet company and client quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of planting, irrigation, paving, structures, and other landscape elements.
• Enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with company safety procedures
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage. Verify material quality upon delivery and ensure compliance with approved specifications
  
  

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in large-scale landscape, irrigation, and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of landscape construction methods, irrigation systems, and plant materials.
