The Site Mechanical Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising all mechanical aspects of construction projects at a specific site. Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the mechanical engineering activities at the construction site.

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and operation of mechanical systems on site.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to assess mechanical systems and structures.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to align project objectives.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Address any technical challenges or issues that arise during construction phases.
• Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and team members.
• Prepare and present reports on technical activities and site progress to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement methods to improve overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Promote a safe working environment and lead safety meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Proven track record in leading and managing mechanical engineering teams on-site.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering software preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively work with teams and stakeholders.
