Context

The Site Engineer – Earthwork Roadwork Traffic Management is responsible for overseeing all earthwork activities on site, including excavation, backfilling, grading, compaction, and site leveling, ensuring execution is in accordance with project drawings, specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements.

Missions/Main Duties

• Reviewing method statements and shop drawings.
• Assist the Construction Manager in the management and direction of a team of Surveyor and Inspectors for the supervision of the construction.
• Reporting on progress, safety, financial recommendations, and quality control and design modifications.
• Monitoring progress of construction against the programmed and taking steps to ensure the programmed is achieved.
• Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the supervision work and monitors it for improvement.
  
  

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, construction supervision, or execution of railway projects.
• Relevant experience in earthworks, roadworks, and traffic management on railway projects
• Proven experience in supervising construction activities, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Familiarity with temporary traffic management, road diversions, reinstatement works, and coordination with local authorities and stakeholders.
• With PMC experience, supervision consultant, or Engineer role is preferred
