Job Description

The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing electrical installations and maintenance at construction sites. They ensure that electrical systems comply with regulations and meet project requirements. The Site Electrical Engineer also provides technical support to project teams and supervises electrical technicians.


Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project teams to plan electrical installations.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for compliance and safety.
  • Ensure timely completion of electrical works within budget.
  • Prepare cost estimates for electrical materials and labor.
  • Supervise electrical technicians and provide technical guidance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with other professionals such as architects and engineers.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
