Position: Shovel Operator

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary : 3300 AED

Rotation : 90/30

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various types of shovels, including hydraulic and mechanical shovels, to excavate and load materials onto trucks or into designated areas
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations
• Keep accurate records of materials excavated and loaded, as well as any maintenance or repair work performed on equipment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
• Adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines while operating equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating shovels in an Oil and Gas or construction setting
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
