Senior Telecom Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecom Engineer with over 15 years of proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry-specific communication requirements, safety standards, and technologies used in offshore and onshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of telecom systems for oil and gas facilities (onshore/offshore).
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure (radio systems, fiber optics, CCTV, PAGA, SCADA, LAN/WAN, VSAT, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and HSE regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during FEED, detailed engineering, and execution phases.
• Conduct site surveys, technical evaluations, and vendor assessments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom systems.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years of telecom engineering experience in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, NEC, API, etc.).
• Experience with major EPC contractors or operating companies.
• Proficient in telecom system design tools and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
