The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Physicians, plays a pivotal role in healthcare organizations by identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier medical professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and clinical services. Working closely with hiring managers and department heads, the specialist will manage the full cycle recruitment process while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic physician recruitment plans tailored to diverse needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand specific hiring needs and requirements for physicians.
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding of physicians.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified physician candidates for future openings.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate job offers and handle employment contracts in line with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare recruitment legal standards and best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and physician workforce developments.
  • Maintain detailed recruitment records and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop strong relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and industry associations.
  • Coordinate relocation and onboarding processes for new physician hires as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment with a focus on physician or healthcare recruitment.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry and physician roles and specializations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage employment discussions professionally.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment management software.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines and manage recruitment metrics.
