Job Description

Lead industrial painting and insulation execution, coordinating surface preparation, paint systems, finishing and insulation installation across assigned work areas.

Key Responsibilities

·       Plan and supervise painting and insulation crews in line with construction and handover priorities.

·       Verify specified paint systems, colour schedules, product compatibility and approved application methods.

·       Coordinate surface preparation, primer and finish coats, curing periods and touch up campaigns.

·       Monitor climatic conditions, coverage, material consumption and inspection readiness.

·       Coordinate insulation thickness, vapour barriers, cladding and weather sealing to approved details.

·       Sequence work around testing, equipment access and adjacent trades to minimize damage and rework.

·       Oversee safe handling of paints and solvents, ventilation, access and housekeeping.

·       Track progress, close defects and compile supporting work records for turnover.

Requirements

·       Technical diploma or equivalent relevant trade qualification.

·       10+ years in industrial painting and insulation, including 4+ years in senior field supervision.
