Senior Superintendent Mechanical

Lead and supervise Mechanical, HVAC, Piping, Painting, Insulation, Refractory and Fireproofing construction activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution in line with international standards, approved budget, schedule and construction sequence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams and subcontractors against 90-day and weekly schedules.
  
• Monitor manpower, equipment, productivity, progress and workfront readiness.
  
• Review construction methods, drawings, procedures and subcontractor execution plans.
  
• Ensure compliance with HSE, ITPs, QCPs, quality standards and project requirements.
  
• Supervise mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, process piping and HVAC installation.
  
• Coordinate inspections, technical queries, NCRs, walkdowns and punch-list closure.
  
• Manage equipment preservation, pressure testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  
• Coordinate with Engineering, Client, QC, Vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  
• Monitor subcontractor scope, quantities, variations and cost-related matters.
  
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to construction teams.
  

Requirements

• 20+ years Mechanical & Piping site experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies and subcontractors; 20+ years HVAC experience for HVAC-focused roles.
  
• Strong experience in Mechanical, Piping and/or HVAC construction.
  
• Middle East, CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred.
  
• Thorough knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards.
  
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and subcontractor management skills.
  
• Fluent English and good computer/MS Office skills.
  
• Lifting and scaffolding supervision training preferred.
