About The Role

The Platform Operations team, with members located in Canada, the US, Ireland, Poland, United Arab Emirates and India, performs critical functions on Innocap’s dedicated managed account platforms (“DMAs”). The teams primary responsibilities include performing complex funds reconciliations, margin & OTC collateral management as well as OTC derivatives settlement.

The Platform Operations Department is currently looking for an experienced Senior Specialist to join its team and support the Platform Operations team & growth. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to work closely with Innocap clients, hedge fund managers, clearing and OTC counterparties, and administrators.

Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Specialist – Platform Operations

  • Oversee operational service delivery for assigned clients, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and established processes.
  • Manage client and hedge fund manager communications regarding the Innocap operating model, onboarding, and liquidation.
  • Provide expert support to clients and internal teams in resolving operational issues.
  • Allocate tasks to junior team members and facilitate cross-training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Develop deep expertise in Innocap’s proprietary technology and lead initiatives for its continuous improvement.
  • Support senior management in executing the strategic vision and advancing the team’s objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, equipping them with the necessary tools and guidance for success.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all client processes.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with leaders across departments to establish an effective, integrated operating model for assigned clients.

Primary Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in finance or related field.
  • Seasoned experience in operations and middle office functions and supporting complex operational control frameworks
  • Remarkable interpersonal skills with a proven track record of being client-focused and delivering outstanding client service.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities along with a proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to work.
  • Excellent presentation skills and capacity to address client questions and requests.
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making roles.
  • Ability to think and act proactively, and to multi-task in a stimulating environment.
