Job Description

The Senior Specialist – HR plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning and execution of HR initiatives to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This position provides a unique opportunity to facilitate processes that enhance and sustain a positive work environment, work proactively with line managers and employees to solve HR issues, and improve policies, procedures, and programs. The successful candidate will bring a mix of strategic and operational HR skills, offering exceptional support and service to a diverse workforce. The Senior Specialist will drive various HR functional areas, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and compliance, ensuring alignment with the company’s policies, practices, and objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert consultation and support to management on HR and employee relation issues.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the recruitment processes to attract top talent.
  • Design and evaluate optimal compensation structures ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Lead and manage performance management processes to foster staff development and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and career development.
  • Conduct research and analysis on HR metrics to advise on process improvements.
  • Implement and manage policies that promote a healthy and diversified work environment.
  • Serve as an HR liaison, effectively communicating organizational changes and policy updates.
  • Coordinate the administration of benefits plans and resolve any related issues proactively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback and improvement within the HR team and the wider organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing full cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and related HR software systems used for data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in HR operations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employment matters with the utmost discretion and integrity.
