Senior Specialist Consultant - Infectious Disease-Government Facility UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Infectious Disease to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing infectious diseases while ensuring high standards of patient care, infection prevention, and clinical excellence.

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases, including complex and emerging infections.
• Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic investigations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage antimicrobial therapy and promote responsible antimicrobial stewardship.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases and infection prevention initiatives.
• Support hospital infection control protocols and contribute to outbreak investigation and management.
• Provide clinical guidance and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with established clinical standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities

• Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications in Infectious Disease or an appropriate related specialty.
• Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in infectious disease diagnosis, treatment, and management.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and hospital infection control practices.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board certifications are encouraged to apply.
