Senior Specialist CAD

Job Description

To be responsible for the management, preparation and controlling all drawings to support the Developers’ Services team, and assist in the provision of relevant drawings, plans, layouts, data to prospect investors within ADPorts Group. To work as an effective team member of the Developer’s Services Hub to primarily serve and assist the division’s mapping needs pertaining to CAD and drafting related issues. To coordinate within the division and other departments within ABU DHABI PORTS Units and government authorities.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Support and assist the BS team in the production, updating and maintenance of drawings using AutoCAD software
• Deliver quality design solutions per the urban planning department manager and urban planners’ directions.
• Utilize knowledge of engineering practices to produce sound technical drawings.
• Develop a database from relevant drawings, files, and reports to aid as guides in drawing development.
• Drafting technical plans/drawings based on sketches provided by Urban Planning Team such as Master Planning drawings, Urban Design drawings, subdivision Plans, Utilities and Infrastructure drawings.
• Update the CAD files frequently and issue the latest revision drawings
• Provide AutoCAD drawings to potential investors to enable them to establish their technical designs.
• Assist in Development Review for Kizad Clients.
• Coordinate and Update GIS Plans accordingly.
• Update the document controller of any drawing submission or revisions. to ensure easy retrieval and timely update
• Perform other relevant functions in the division as assigned by line manager .
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Urban Planning certificate/experience or qualification is a definite advantage.
  
  

• Excellent English and Arabic
  
  

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  
  

• CAD and Land Planning
• Infrastructure planning.
