Job Description
Lead Bioinformatics and HPC team: Initiation/implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Bioinformatics workflows. Tracking project data and reporting analysis results. Collaboration with other research groups and bioinformatics support and training. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualification
PhD in Bio science/ Bioinformatics/ Computational biology. 3 – 5 years experience in NGS data analysis and genomics.
Preferred Qualification
PhD in Bio science/ Bioinformatics/ Computational biology. 3 – 5 years experience in NGS data analysis and genomics.
Expected Skills
Strong background in bioinformatics data analysis and scientific programming applied to biological research. Proven experience in pipeline development and working with UNIX/Linux clusters. Expertise in NGS data analysis and genome analysis is highly preferred. Broad knowledge of biology, particularly genetics. Experience handling large genomic datasets (e.g., next-generation sequencing, genotyping, expression data). Skilled in data mining and data analysis. Proficient in at least one major scripting language, such as Perl or Python.
