A Senior Reliability Engineer effectively applies a wide variety of Reliability techniques to a diverse range of industries and effectively manages a project from beginning to end to meet customer expectations and all project deliverables. The SRE works as part of a team and often as a team leader, to lead and influence fellow Engineers.
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Applying a wide variety of reliability techniques across diverse industries and client organizations.
- Managing projects and demonstrates Leadership capabilities in influencing and developing others.
- Acting as an advisor and coach/trainer in a wide variety of Reliability methods and approaches.
- Actively engaging in business development with a deep understanding of the different approaches to ASM and APM and how to identify the optimal outcomes for client success.
- Leading by example and creating multiple options to achieve optimal outcomes and demonstrating behaviours which enhance the success of others.
- Working as part of a team and often as a team leader, to lead and influence fellow Engineers and Consultants.
- Applying broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area.
- Independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Acquiring general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.
- Working on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have at least 5 years industry experience in a maintenance/reliability role gained in mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing.
- Have experience in the application of reliability methods and techniques gained within relevant industry.
- Have experience in data analysis including extraction from various data sources , and the ability to summarize data into conclusions.
- Have experience in managing projects and able to demonstrate skills in all project elements including timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Have experience in managing and coaching a team
- Have experience in the preparation and delivery of professional presentations.
- Have ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal and presents confidently with a diverse demographic from hourly employees to senior executives.
- CRE and/or CAMA2 certification (highly desirable)
