Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager for Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in Miral’s DTD Portfolio Department, driving the successful launch and transformation of new business units through strategic alignment with the organization’s Digital and Technology objectives. You will ensure effective project prioritization and planning, maximizing resource allocation to deliver superior business value while fostering cross-functional collaboration. This role requires leading projects from initiation to closure, providing a transparent view of progress, and managing stakeholder expectations to secure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes. In addition to overseeing project execution, you will advocate for cutting-edge digital technology strategies by assessing evolving trends and business needs, and advising on policies and procedures to elevate organizational performance.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead project initiation, planning, execution, and closure, ensuring alignment with agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
• Develop and refine project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to meet strategic objectives and deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members and junior managers, fostering a culture of best-practice adoption.
• Coordinate recruitment, assignment, and workforce management for project phases, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Assess, mitigate, and document risks throughout project lifecycles, implementing proactive solutions to safeguard project integrity.
• Monitor project activities closely to maintain consistency in deliverables, quality, and organizational communications.
• Establish and enforce standards for project documentation, reporting, and adherence to business goals.
• Benchmark project performance against benchmarks to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance portfolio management capabilities.
• Audit and approve work plans and deliverables from external service providers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Champion a communication plan that aligns with stakeholder expectations and secures stakeholder buy-in throughout project timelines.
  
  

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, complemented by ITIL v4 or PMP/Prince2/Six Sigma certification.
• CCNA or higher Cisco Certification, demonstrating proficiency in IT infrastructure best practices.
• Five years of progressive IT experience, emphasizing problem-solving and business alignment in critical projects.
• Five years of leading complex, large-scale infrastructure projects in enterprise settings.
• Five years of business unit (BU) experience with hands-on engagement in business and technology transformations.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams through multiple project life cycles with excellence.
• Strong proficiency in business, financial, and communication skills to effectively bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability to evolving business demands and the ability to forecast and align project completions with future resource needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with expertise in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to use technical and soft skills effectively to navigate challenges in project environments.

• Masters in Information Systems or advanced certification such as Six Sigma, ISO27001, CCIE, or CISSP.
• Seven years of progressive IT experience with emphasis on strategic problem-solving for digital business transformation.
• Five years leading high-risk projects in dynamic organizational settings.
• Extensive knowledge of portfolio, programs, and project tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Open Workbench) with a record of practical implementation.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills to effectively operate in environments with shared resources.
• Deep understanding of business needs, capable of maintaining high-trust relationships with stakeholders.
