About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer with 8+ years of relevant experience.

The Senior Product Designer is a hands-on individual contributor who owns end-to-end product design for AI and data products across the ADQ portfolio. You will translate ambiguous business problems into intuitive, elegant experiences that work in real operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design for new AI solutions from concept to shipped experience (research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes)
• Confident using AI design tools (e.g., Figma AI/Figma Make, Lovable, Replit, other generative UI tools) to accelerate wireframes, UI explorations, and prototypes
• Partner with Senior AI Product Managers and the AI Solutions team to shape problem statements, use cases, and success metrics
• Design multi-surface experiences (web, mobile, dashboards, conversational UIs) that fit into existing OpCo workflows
• Run user research and usability testing with business and technical stakeholders across OpCos and Contango
• Create and maintain design systems and components for the companys products to ensure consistency and speed
• Collaborate closely with engineering on implementation details and edge cases; support design QA
• Document design decisions and rationale to enable reuse across OpCos and products
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design culture, rituals, and best practices

Candidate Requirements 

• 8+ years in product/UX design for digital products, preferably B2B or enterprise SaaS
• Strong portfolio showing complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, or AI-powered experiences
• Comfortable with basic vibe coding (simple HTML/CSS, basic JS or similar) to understand implementation constraints and collaborate effectively with engineers
• Uses AI tools for research synthesis, design documentation, and variant exploration, while owning final judgment and ensuring outputs are accurate, on-brand, and human-quality
• Comfortable with Figma (or similar), prototyping tools, and design systems
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, and customer stakeholders
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Must know how to vibe code and can use AI to create prototypes
