Senior Planning Engineer

Penspen is urgently looking for Senior Planning Engineer to work with one of the ADNOC Offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical or Relevant discipline
  
  

• Responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for offshore oil and gas construction projects
• ensures that engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities are planned and executed efficiently
• strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of offshore construction methodologies, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master project schedule
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
• Establish progress measurement systems (PMS) for all project phases
• Track and update progress based on actual site data, fabrication yard reports, and offshore installation updates
• Perform schedule risk analysis and scenario planning
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, marine, and commissioning teams
• Interface with offshore installation contractors, fabrication yards, and third‑party vendors
• Develop installation sequences, hook‑up plans, and offshore execution schedules
• Evaluate schedule impacts of change orders, design revisions, and scope growth
• Maintain schedule baselines and ensure proper version control
• Ensure alignment with project controls procedures and company standards
• Support development of planning procedures, templates, and best practices
  
  

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in planning within offshore oil & gas EPC/EPCI projects.
• Expert in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls tools
• Strong understanding of offshore construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Previous experience in the ADNOC offshore project is an added advantage.
• Experience from PMC Background preferred
