The Senior Parts & Services Consultant plays a pivotal role in the automotive and machinery industries by providing expert advice and solutions to clientele regarding parts and services. This role requires a deep understanding of parts cataloging and an ability to facilitate optimal solutions that enhance the service delivery experience. The consultant acts as a bridge between service teams and clients, ensuring that all service operations run smoothly and efficiently. With specialization in various products and systems, the consultant aids in troubleshooting, training, and strategic planning to ensure competitive advantage and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on parts and service requirements to optimize vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to enhance parts and service offerings for clients.
  • Develop strategies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of service operations.
  • Conduct thorough parts inventory analysis and assist in inventory management.
  • Support clients with troubleshooting and resolving parts and service issues effectively.
  • Train service team members on latest parts, tools, and technologies available.
  • Monitor industry trends to recommend enhancements to current service practices.
  • Ensure accuracy of parts documentation, records, and reports in the system.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries regarding parts and service requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and service providers.
  • Evaluate client feedback to improve parts and service processes and offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services and parts to clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the parts and services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive parts cataloging and service processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients effectively.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret technical information and data accurately.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and parts management software systems required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Availability to travel occasionally for client visits and industry events.
