Job Purpose

Oversee and execute hydraulic fracturing operations, ensuring safe and efficient deployment of equipment and

pumping services to optimize well performance. Operate frac pumps, blenders, and related equipment,

maintaining safety standards, troubleshooting operational issues, and coordinating with the team to achieve

effective hydraulic fracturing treatments.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Operate and monitor hydraulic fracturing equipment, including frac pumps, blenders, hydration units,

and sand handling systems, to execute fracturing jobs according to job designs and specifications.

  • Supervise and coordinate with the frac crew to ensure safe and efficient fracturing operations, including

fluid mixing, proppant handling, and pressure control.

  • Perform routine checks, inspections, and maintenance of frac equipment to ensure optimal functionality,

prevent breakdowns, and minimize downtime.

  • Conduct pressure tests, fluid checks, and equipment calibrations before, during, and after fracturing

operations to ensure quality control and job integrity.

  • Ensure adherence to ADNOC Drilling’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conducting

safety meetings, risk assessments, and proper equipment handling protocols.

  • Record and maintain accurate data logs for pumping rates, pressures, fluid volumes, and proppant

concentrations, and report any operational anomalies or issues to the Supervisor or Team Leader.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during fracturing jobs, coordinating with the field supervisor

and maintenance teams as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations.

  • Provide guidance and training to junior operators and crew members on hydraulic fracturing processes,

equipment operation, and safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize fracturing treatments and provide feedback on job

performance, equipment reliability, and potential improvements.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, proppants, and other materials used in

hydraulic fracturing in compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.

  • Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of

practice.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)

Minimum Qualification

Diploma in a technical field.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

5-8 years of experience in hydraulic fracturing operations within the oil and gas industry, with at least

2-3 years in a senior operator role or similar position.

  • Completing all HSE courses required for the hydraulic fracturing operations.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
