Job description:
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform the day-to-day activities in Talent Acquisition, source and interview candidates, and start the hiring process as per the defined policy and procedure. Meet managers and provide the best service in a timely manner to support the department’s objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibilities:
Identify the right candidates through different sources, shortlist the best candidates, and arrange interviews.
Arrange and conduct local and international recruitment events, Career Fairs, and open days in schools and universities.
Arrange and conduct local and international recruitment campaigns.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to explain the position requirements and discuss the Job Description with them.
Conduct recruiting update meetings with hiring departments to set expectations and maintain communication with them throughout the recruiting process
Successfully source candidates through professional network, proactive efforts, research and networking. Must be able to
Design and execute a creative sourcing strategy to pipeline a diverse, high quality candidate pool.
Network and build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal & external customers.
Conduct phone screens, provide candidate assessments, and recommend viable candidates to hiring manager for further consideration.
Lead candidate interview feedback session and provide follow-up on interviews.
Manage all candidate communications and information to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
Participate in any given projects by the management.
Provide accurate information to candidates about the company and the position in a way that inspires interest and document their progress through the selection process.
Ensure that recruiting activities follow Government regulations and company policies and procedures.
Ensure that all requisition and candidate data is current and accurate and documented appropriately in the applicant tracking system.
Work cooperatively with all members of the Talent Acquisition, and broader HC team to implement staffing plans and activities.
Check, clear and pass for necessary approval all invoices received from recruitment agencies.
Candidates Communication
Communicates with all parties concerned in order to obtain information for the drafting and issuance of formal offer letters and coordinate with Talent Acquisition section for the preparation and issuance of rejection letters.
Safety, Quality & Environment
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Related Assignments
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
AUTHORITY/ DECISION MAKING:
Works within the set guidelines, policies and procedures and proposes recommendation for improvements;
Updates direct manager frequently on matters involving administrative problems or seeks guidance on major issues, reviews plan of action or discusses existing processes, policies, procedures and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
2 - 3 years minimum experience in a similar role, specifically recruitment activities in a medium-sized company.
