Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer – Housekeeping to oversee housekeeping operations within a healthcare environment. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection prevention, safety, vendor performance, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  
• Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control (IPC) and safety requirements.
  
• Monitor housekeeping vendors and evaluate service quality against agreed KPIs and standards.
  
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality assessments.
  
• Identify service gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping teams.
  
• Monitor cleaning procedures, materials, equipment, and service standards.
  
• Coordinate with healthcare and facility teams to resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused environment.
  
• Prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of housekeeping experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.
  
• Previous supervisory or senior-level experience is required.
  
• UAE healthcare experience is preferred.
