Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementing and updating transshipment crew management policies and procedures.
  • Assis to arrange recruitment and onboarding activities of seafarers.
  • Coordinate crew rotations and vessel assignments.
  • Carryout crew welfare and well-being activities.
  • Check crew grievances and disciplinary matters and ensure to resolve issues with the related stakeholder effectively and efficiently.
  • Track crew actual expenditures and propose cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with maritime training institutions.
  • Stay updated on maritime labor regulations and industry best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate crew documentation and files.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Masters degree is a plus
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Preferred experience in maritime crew management and administration.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • Planning and organization

Qualifications

  • Carry out crewing activities and provide support on crew-related matters.

Purpose of Interaction:

  • Support in crew sourcing, procurement activities, training needs and relationships management.
