Synopsis



The Senior Manager Rotable Management is responsible for managing the end-to-end repair lifecycle and overall pool support of rotable components to ensure operational readiness, cost efficiency, and compliance with technical and reliability standards. This role focuses on optimizing repair turnaround times (TAT), improving vendor performance, enhancing repair processes, maximizes the standard of component supply and maximizing recovery through claims to support fleet availability, minimize AOG risks, and optimize costs.

Accountabilities



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive rotable lifecycle management strategy, balancing on-wing performance (reliability, FOF, NFF, short-term removals) and off-wing performance (TAT, repair scope, component standards).
  • Define the strategy for the repair capability, including development and implementation of inhouse capability, and implement measures with short- and long-term benefits in terms to guarantee the best performance for the component in relation to the total cost of ownership.
  • Manage overall costs related to repairs, loans, and exchanges, and drive cost recovery through warranty and technical claims. Support BER analysis and repair vs. replacement decisions.
  • Oversee repair processes for all rotable components, ensuring timely return to service and adherence to contractual SLAs; implement backlog reduction strategies and process improvements.
  • Ensure suppliers are effectively performing by means of regular engagement, contract management and development of improvement plan on product and processes.
  • Lead and develop the repairs engineering team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and accountability.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of agility, accountability and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in repair management, component workshop management, and technical supply chain operations, out of which 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of rotable components, repair standards, reliability, cost management and applicable aviation regulations (FAA/EASA/GCAA).
  • Skills in financial analysis, business case development, contract negotiation and supplier engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
