Job Description
Own and lead the People/HR technology domain for AD Ports Group, acting as the dedicated ‘one front door’ for People & Culture (HC&E) technology demand, roadmap, and delivery. Operating within the domain-oriented model of Global Enterprise Solutions, the role owns the end-to-end relationship, roadmap, solution delivery, and ongoing operation of HR and workforce technology platforms, including AI-Augmented and AI-native solutions — ensuring they are planned, built, tested, deployed, and operated to a high standard. Act as the primary technology partner to the HC&E function, shaping business demand into deliverable work, running an integrated People/HR “mini-product” team, and delivering measurable value through stable, well-supported, and continuously improving People technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end People/HR technology domain — relationship, roadmap, delivery, and operations — across HR, payroll, talent, workforce, and related People & Culture (HC&E) platforms.
- Act as the dedicated technology partner and single point of contact (“one front door”) for the HC&E function, capturing demand, understanding priorities, and shaping requests into deliverable work.
- Maintain a clear People/HR technology roadmap covering run, grow, and transform priorities, and manage the domain backlog and investments based on business value and need. This includes the growing focus on AI-Augmented and AI-Native Human Capital technology solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, future-state process designs, and solution designs (configure, buy, build, or enhance), including configuration and integration design.
- Direct the build, configuration, enhancement, and integration of People/HR applications through internal teams and vendor-led delivery.
- Ensure changes are tested, validated, and release-ready, managing deployment readiness, change adoption, and go-live and hypercare support.
- Manage People/HR technology projects and transformation initiatives end-to-end, coordinating timelines, dependencies, risks, and reporting across business, technology, and vendors.
- Run People/HR applications day to day so they remain stable and usable, providing L2/L3 support coordination, issue resolution, proactive fixes, preventive maintenance, and upgrades.
- Keep HC&E stakeholders aligned on priorities, status, trade-offs, and upcoming technology changes.
- Manage vendor and partner delivery, contracts, and service performance for People/HR platforms, in coordination with Procurement and Digital Value & Governance teams.
- Maintain documentation, technical standards, and disaster recovery and business continuity readiness for business-critical People/HR applications.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the People/HR technology domain team — functional and product specialists, solution analysts, and delivery and operations engineers — across delivery and run.
- Set clear expectations and foster a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and business-centricity within the domain team.
- Manage resourcing, performance, and adherence to delivery schedules across domain initiatives and operations.
- Coach and mentor team members, identify skill gaps, and drive targeted development to build domain and platform capability.
- Coordinate internal and vendor resources, ensuring balanced workload and the right skills and capacity for the domain.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Maintain a multi-year People/HR technology roadmap aligned to Group People strategy and HC&E priorities, covering run, grow, and transform horizons.
- Review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing People/HR applications and recommend improvements, rationalisation, or modernisation.
- Identify cost-effective investment opportunities for People/HR technology and support business case development and value realisation.
- Track domain KPIs and delivery outcomes, reporting performance, risks, and recommendations.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture; Data, AI & Platform Engineering; Global Infrastructure & Cloud; Cybersecurity & Digital Trust; and Digital Care to deliver integrated, secure People/HR solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in HR technology platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM), product management, project management, or service management are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR and workforce application landscapes (including the AI landscape in this area), SaaS and on-premise platforms, systems integration, and service delivery models.
