The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager - Frontend Engineering at Presight, you will lead the frontend engineering function across our digital products, combining strong people management with deep technical leadership. You will be responsible for driving frontend architecture evolution, establishing engineering standards, and enabling the delivery of scalable, intuitive, and high-performing user experiences for enterprise-grade analytics and GenAI solutions.
In this role, you will manage and grow a team of frontend engineers and team leads, while also remaining close to the technical direction and implementation of critical initiatives. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering execution with business goals and deliver impactful customer-centric solutions.
Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineers and team leads, fostering a high-performing engineering culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Drive frontend team development and capability building through coaching, performance management, hiring, career development, and organization planning.
Define and evolve frontend engineering standards, best practices, and development processes to improve code quality, maintainability, consistency, security, and delivery effectiveness.
Provide strong technical leadership in frontend architecture, system design, and implementation, with hands-on involvement in critical technical decisions, code reviews, and selected development tasks when needed.
Own and guide the evolution of frontend architecture for large-scale enterprise products, ensuring scalability, reliability, extensibility, and alignment with long-term product and platform strategy.
Partner closely with product managers, UX/design teams, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements and user needs into robust and intuitive product experiences.
Support the delivery of AI / GenAI-enabled products and features by helping shape frontend integration patterns, user interaction models, and overall experience design for intelligent systems.
Drive improvements in frontend performance, accessibility, responsiveness across products and platforms.
Ensure high engineering quality through sound testing strategies, code reviews, technical governance, and adoption of modern development practices.
Contribute to roadmap planning, execution oversight, risk identification, and cross-team coordination to ensure predictable and effective delivery in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Collaborate across teams to resolve complex technical and organizational challenges, influence decision-making, and strengthen alignment between engineering and business priorities.
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, AI-related development trends, and industry best practices, and apply them where they create measurable value for the organization.
Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, with at least 5+ years in engineering management or technical leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in modern frontend development, with deep proficiency in React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Proven experience leading the frontend development of large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
Strong architectural and system design capability, with the ability to guide frontend platform evolution and make sound technical trade-offs.
Demonstrated experience establishing engineering standards, development best practices, and quality processes for frontend teams.
Experience managing engineers and/or team leads, including coaching, performance management, hiring, and team development.
Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, testing strategies (e.g. Vitest, Jest), accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Solid experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and senior stakeholders across multiple teams.
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building and delivering AI / GenAI-powered products or integrating LLM-based services into enterprise applications.
Experience in analytics platforms, big data products, or similarly complex data-intensive systems.
Knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and scalable component-based UI architecture.
Experience working closely with UX and product teams to shape user-centric workflows in complex enterprise environments.
Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma.
Experience leading frontend teams through architectural modernization, technical transformation, or platform standardization initiatives.
